As expected, Australia’s opener David Warner was booed by the English crowd when the opener came out to bat in the ongoing third warm-up match against England. Warner has returned back to action after serving his ban of one year of ball-tampering. In fact, David Warner was the main culprit in the Cape Town Test match controversy.

Meanwhile, it is going to be a long summer for David Warner in England. The World Cup is just a few days away and subsequently, Australia will take on arch-rivals England in the five-match Ashes Test series.

Thus, Warner will expect a tough time from the English crowd which will not miss a chance to put him under pressure. Meanwhile, England stand-in skipper Jos Buttler won the toss and decided to bowl first. England is playing without their full-time captain Eoin Morgan as he suffered a fracture to index finger during the fielding practice on Friday.

Meanwhile, one of the spectators called David Warner a cheat. The fan shouted, “Get off Warner you cheat.”

On the other hand, Australian skipper Aaron Finch is well aware that the English crowd is going to play a big part in the upcoming World Cup.

Aaron Finch said at the captain’s press conference, “Once the World Cup gets underway and you start getting into the tournament, probably the game against England, and then further on the Ashes, there’s no doubt the crowd will start to play a bit of a part but that’s expected.

“No matter where you go the fans play a big part.”

Australia will begin their World Cup campaign against Afghanistan at County Ground, Bristol on 1st June. Meanwhile, Aaron Finch-led side will face Sri Lanka in their second warm-up match at Rose Bowl, Southampton on 27th May.
