England and Pakistan will take on each other in the sixth of the ongoing ICC World Cup 2019 at Trent Bridge, Nottingham. Pakistan had got off to a horrible start as they had gone down against Windies like a pack of cards. Men in Green were bundled out for a mundane score of 105 runs and they would aim to turn the tables against England. We take a look at Match Prediction for the sixth match of the ODI showpiece between England and Pakistan.

Meanwhile, England had got off to winning start against South Africa. England had ticked the right boxes as they had won by a massive margin of 104 runs. Ben Stokes was the star of the show as he had scored a fine knock 89, scalped two wickets and plucked one of the best catches in the World Cup history.

England will start as favourites.

Furthermore, Jofra Archer had announced himself at the big stage. There was a lot of talk about Jofra Archer’s World Cup selection and he showed why he deserved his chance in the playing XI. Archer was lethal with his pace and South Africa didn’t have any answers to the gun fast bowler.

On the other hand, Pakistan was troubled by the short stuff from the Windies bowlers and Archer would be raring to go against Sarfraz Ahmed-led side. Subsequently, Pakistan’s batters should be well-prepared to counter the short deliveries as they would be tested once again.

Meanwhile, both these teams had taken on each other 15 days ago at the same venue of Trent Bridge. England had won that contest by three wickets when Pakistan had posted a par score of 340 runs with the help of Babar Azam.

Match Prediction: England will begin this contest as red hot favourites. They have the form under their belt and would have gained confidence after their first win against South Africa. However, Pakistan will need to pull up their socks in the batting department as they were not up to the mark against the Windies.
