ICC World Cup 2019: Sri Lanka vs South Africa – Match Prediction
Sri Lanka and South Africa will take on each other in the 35th match of the ICC World Cup. Dimuth Karunaratne-led side had stunned England in their previous match by 20 runs and they would like to continue their good form going. On the other hand, South Africa has been already been knocked out of the tournament. The Proteas had lost their previous match against Pakistan which ended their hopes of qualifying for the last four of the tournament. Sri Lanka had come with an inspiring performance against England when they went on to defend a paltry score of 232 runs. The Island nation bowling was right on the money and their vanguard, Lasith Malinga had bowled with fire.
On the other hand, it has been a disappointing performance from the Proteas. They haven’t lived up to the expectations and would like to end the tournament on a high. Hence, Faf du Plessis led side will need to turn the tables.
