England Test skipper Joe Root had a good time when Eoin Morgan asked him to roll over his arm against West Indies in the 19th match of the World Cup against West Indies. Root bowled five overs and uprooted two wickets. Shimron Hetmyer was looking to run down the ball towards the long-on region. However, the southpaw batsman made the mistake of hitting the ball in the air.

Root was quick to move to his left and took a simple catch to dismiss Shimron Hetmyer. Subsequently, the part-time spinner went on to celebrate the dismissal like former England skipper Sir Ian Botham. Hence, the International Cricket Council Twitter handle went on to share the video of both players.

Root uprooted two wickets.

Meanwhile, Joe Root was also able to get the big fish Jason Holder. Root drifted down the leg side and bowled an innocuous delivery, which was a knuckleball. However, Holder closed the bat face early and the leading edge ballooned back to Root.

Hence, Root scalped two wickets and gave away 27 runs in the five overs he bowled. Meanwhile, Jason Roy pulled his hamstring while chasing the ball in the field. Hence, Roy who had scored a fine hundred in the last match against Bangladesh could not take the field.

Consequently, Joe Root who generally bats at number three for England has come out to bat with Jonny Bairstow. England has got off to a good start as they are 44-0 in their run chase of 213 runs.

England was able to tick the right boxes as Jofra Archer and Mark Wood scalped three wickets each. Furthermore, Chris Woakes and Liam Plunkett snared one wicket each. On the other hand, Nicholas Pooran scored a good knock of 63 runs from 78 balls. However, other West Indies batsmen could not get going.

Here is the similar wicket celebration of Joe Root and Sir Ian Botham.
