India’s bowling coach Bharat Arun stated the team’s focus is on the match against West Indies rather than the colour of their jersey. There has been a lot of confusion regarding India’s away jersey that they are expected to play against hosts England. There is no official revelation of the jersey yet but India is expected to wear Orange colour dominated jersey against England on 30th June.

The International Cricket Council has taken a cue from FIFA’s book as the concept of home and away jersey has come into this edition of the World Cup. With England being the hosts, India is to wear a different coloured jersey.

India looks good for a semi-final berth.

“To be very honest we are not aware of what colours we are going to be wearing, we haven’t given any thought to that and all our focus is only on the match tomorrow. We are focusing on the game and not aware of the colour we are getting. We bleed blue and blue is going to be predominantly the colour that is it,” Arun said during a pre-match press conference here on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Bharat Arun said that the team is aware of the challenges when they will take on West Indies. The Windies are an unpredictable side and India will not like to take them lightly.

In fact, India had received a harsh lesson when they had their backs against the wall in the match against Afghanistan. Thus, India would not like to leave any stone unturned.

India has thus played five matches and they have won four of them with one match ending in no result. Hence, India is looking good to make its way into the last four of the tournament.

On the other hand, it would be interesting to note who India would back between Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Mohammed Shami in the playing XI.
