New Zealand paceman Kyle Jamieson added two more wickets to his tally on the third morning as the Kiwis restricted India’s scoring in the ongoing ICC World Test Championship final in Southampton. Kyle Jamieson struck in his first over of the third day to remove the opposing captain Virat Kohli. The towering seamer’s hard work rewarded him with another massive breakthrough in the form of Rishabh Pant.

Two balls before Kyle Jamieson got his third wicket of the match, Rishabh Pant managed to earn a boundary to get off strike in over 20 balls. The keeper-batsman had grown impatient as the runs were hard to come by in bowling friendly conditions. As a result, Pant slashed hard at the ball going away. He got a thick edge and that ended up in Tom Latham’s hands. He took the catch by putting a dive, clinging on to it safely.
India started the morning at 146-3, which they managed on a start-stop second day after the opening day resulted in a complete washout. Virat Kohli, who remained unbeaten on 44, could not add any run to his tally on the third day. New Zealand bowlers, who had slightly been indisciplined on the second day are currently suffocating India by performing exquisitely. India’s last batting pair Ajinkya Rahane and Ravindra Jadeja are on the crease.
