Virat to return for Australia series
The India National Cricket Team skipper had taken rest post the third ODI against New Zealand. As he missed the remaining two One-Dayers and three T20Is which followed; Rohit Sharma, the India opener took over the baton for the meantime. By the time he had left, Virat had helped India win the ODI series for the first time in New Zealand in a decade.
Meanwhile, his vacation time is set to finish, as India will host Australia for two T20Is and five ODIs; which begins on February 24th in Vizag. Though the squad is yet to come out, Virat Kohli is likely to return to the team for the bilateral series. Alongside him, the BCCI selectors could also pick pace bowler, Jasprit Bumrah to the team.
However, a few of the years could be given rest, considering the workload and the schedule to follow. Post the Australia series, IPL 2019 will begin on March 23rd. After it ends, the ICC 2019 Cricket World Cup will start on May 30th.
