India Set Up Clash Against Pakistan In Blind World Cup Final

Indian cricket had a mixed day at the office, on the one hand India cricket team lost to South Africa in the second Test by 135 runs but on the other hand, the Indian blind cricket team reached the final of the World Cup to set up the summit clash against their arch-rivals Pakistan. Defending champion World Cup India defeated Bangladesh in the semi-final by seven wickets.

Bangladesh won the toss and chose to bat first but were restricted to 256 in 38.5 overs. Abdul Malik was the top scorer for the Bangladeshi side with 108 runs.

For India, Deepak Rao was the pick of the bowlers as he picked up three wickets in three overs giving away just 20 runs. He equally partnered with Deepak Mallik and Prakash who bagged two wickets each.

Mallik had a great day on the field as he shown with the bat as well scoring 53 off 43 but was retired hurt. However, the star for the winning team was Ganeshbhai Muhudkar who was adjudged the man of the match for his 112 runs in 69 deliveries. Naresh also played a handy knock of 40 off 18 balls.

India will face Pakistan on 20th, January 2018 in Sharjah.
