India’s spinner Kuldeep Yadav has showered praise on stylish Australian batsman Shaun Marsh. Yadav believes Shaun Marsh is a very good batsman of spin. The chinaman spinner accepted the fact that Marsh had played him with aplomb in the recent series in Australia. Meanwhile, Shaun Marsh didn’t play in the first One Day International against India which was played in Hyderabad.
On the other hand, Kuldeep Yadav was at his usual best in the first game of the series. The mystery chinaman scalped two wickets and conceded only 46 runs in his 10 overs quota. Kuldeep Yadav said he had studied Marsh when he had made good use of feet.

“Shaun Marsh is a very good player of spin bowling. In Australia, Shaun Marsh was playing really well (against me) and they (team management) wanted to give me a break for a couple of games,” Kuldeep Yadav said in the pre-match press conference.
“After that, I studied Marsh’s batting and saw him playing a lot of deliveries on the front-foot and it paid off. But it will be important how I bowl to him in the next game if he plays.”
Meanwhile, Kuldeep Yadav has played 12 ODI matches against Australia. Thus, Yadav has the experience of almost two years of International cricket and likes to study against a particular batsman with the help of videos.
“Of course, it been two years (now) I am playing international cricket and I have almost played 10-12 matches against Australia in the one-day format. Nowadays, video analysis is there, it is very easy to pick any bowler.”

In fact, Yadav is also focussing on his batting. The southpaw spinner believes his batting can also be handy in the limited overs circuit.
“Of course, batting is important be it in one-day or Test cricket. I am focussing more on batting, every session I am batting for 20 odd minutes. Batting becomes important in some of the close matches and I am working with Sanjay Sir,” he signed off.
Kuldeep Yadav has done a great job for the Indian team. He had scalped 45 wickets in 19 One Day Internationals in 2018. The second ODI against Australia will take place at Nagpur on 5th March.
