India’s talisman wicket-keeper MS Dhoni took a sharp catch to dismiss Australia’s crucial batsman Shaun Marsh. In fact, Dhoni was blindfolded by the southpaw batsman but he managed to take a fine catch down the leg side. Thus, Ravindra Jadeja was able to take his first wicket of the innings.

Meanwhile, MS Dhoni is always a sharp catcher behind the stumps. In fact, Dhoni has also done a great job in providing the inputs to the Indian spinners. Australia is currently 151-4 and they need another 100 runs in 99 balls.

On the other hand, MS Dhoni was dismissed for a golden duck after a gap of nine years. Dhoni was looking to guide the first ball towards the off side but got a thick outside edge. Australia had first slip in place and Usman Khawaja galloped a fine catch.

Meanwhile, Dhoni has been in fine form in 2019. The talisman batsman has thus far scored 301 runs at a stunning average of 150.50. He has been able to rotate the strike, which was his Achilles Heel in the previous year.

India has posted 250 runs in the first innings after Aaron Finch won the toss and decided to bowl first. Indian skipper Virat Kohli scored his 40th ODI hundred as the talisman batsman batted at the top of his game. The right-hander scored 10 fours in his fine knock of 116 off 120 balls.

On the other hand, Vijay Shankar looked good for his knock of 46 runs off just 41 balls. The right-hander scored five fours and one six in his free-flowing innings. Shankar and Kohli added 81 runs alliance for the fourth wicket stand. Jadeja scored 21 runs off 40 balls to give support to his skipper.

Kohli added 67 runs with Ravindra Jadeja who completed his 2000 ODI runs. India currently leads by 1-0 in the five-match series.
