India vs New Zealand 2019: Twitter Reacts To Hardik Pandya's Assualt In 5th ODI

It took only three games for Hardik Pandya to show what he can bring to the table on his day. In his game, he showed his stunning work with the ball and in fielding and now, it is his bat, which talked for him. Perhaps, it has also ended the debate of his selection in the Indian National Cricket Team right after the suspension revoked.
When things looked pretty bleak for India, Hardik Pandya has stood like a warrior to smash Kiwis bowlers all over the park. He knocked a blistering 45 runs off just 22 balls to push India to a moderate total on the board.
Hardik Pandya scored 45 off 22 balls:
He smashed three sixes in a row in Todd Astle’s over and then followed it up with the brilliant hits against Trent Boult and Jimmy Neesham. His stunning knock has pushed India to 251 on the board, who once looked like being bundled out under 200 runs.

Initially, it was once again a repeated story, as Indian batsmen’s hard time with swing bowling was exposed. After a fine time, Rohit Sharma lost his streak of scoring at least one century in a series. Shubman Gill also walked back for a cheap score.
During the course, Trent Boult also showed his class by sending Shikhar Dhawan and Mahendra Singh Dhoni back to the pavilion for cheap scores. However, Ambati Rayudu and Vijay Shankar stood for the team in middle by tackling the bowlers in an efficient way.

Vijay Shankar was brilliant, who handled the pressure well by scoring runs and rotating the strike at regular intervals of time. Just when things looked settled for India, then came the disaster run-out to see Vijay walking back. Despite the runout, Rayudu showed great resilience in the middle to whack 90 runs.

Another hat-trick of sixes by Hardik Pandya today. Fourth time he has hit 3 sixes off 3 balls in ODIs. The only other batsman to do it 4 times in the last two decades is AB de Villiers. #NZvInd

Good recovery from India to get to a respectable 252 after being 18/4. Loved the positivity of Vijay Shankar, Kedar and a very mature innings from Rayudu. Hardik once again showed what an asset he is, by some incredible hitting in the end. #NZvIND

Three sixes in a row for Pandya. He loves doing this hat-trick against the spinners. Think it’s the fourth time he’s done that
