India vs New Zealand 2019: Watch - Rishabh Pant Smash a Switch Hit in Nets

India’s exciting young prospect Rishabh Pant is back in the Indian squad. Pant is expected to be the part of the playing XI in the first T20I against New Zealand. Meanwhile, Rishabh Pant attempted a valiant switch hit in the nets session while facing Hardik Pandya. Pant will like to hit the ground running in New Zealand.

On the other hand, Rishabh Pant has made his mark in the red ball version. Pant was the second highest run-getter in the four-match Test series against Australia. The southpaw batsman scored 350 runs in the four-match series.

Pant will like to hit the ground running.

The pugnacious batsman had scored a brilliant unbeaten knock of 159 runs in the fourth Test match at Sydney. Thus, he was instrumental in India’s 2-1 series win. Furthermore, he was able to tick the right boxes in his wicketkeeping.

Meanwhile, India had clinched the ODI series against New Zealand by 4-1. The visitors have dominated the hosts in every sphere of the game except for the fourth ODI at Hamilton, where they lost by eight wickets.

Rishabh Pant has thus far played 10 T20Is in his young career. He hasn’t left a big mark in the shortest format of the game. The left-hander has amassed 157 runs and he would like to be at the top of his game in New Zealand conditions.

Pant has been able to seal his place in the Test squad and he would like to hit the ground running in his preferable form. The Delhi Capitals batsman was in prolific form in the IPL 2018 where he scored more than 650 runs.

The first T20I between New Zealand and India will take place at Westpac Stadium in Wellington. BCCI took to their Twitter account to share the video of the left-hander.
