India and the Windies will lock horns in the second T20I at Lucknow. It is Diwali time and the Indian team will look to give a perfect gift to their fans by sealing the three-match series. India is leading 1-0 after winning the first T20I at Kolkata by five wickets. Thus, they would aim to clinch the series in the second match.

It was a low scoring game in Eden Gardens and it is expected to be the same show in Lucknow. The pitch curator has revealed the track is going to assist the spinners. Therefore, the spinners of both camps will be licking their lips. Furthermore, it is going to be the first match at newly named Bharat Ratan Atal Bihari Vajpayee International Cricket Stadium.

India will look to seal the series.

The bowlers were the star of the show in Eden Garden and the batting of both teams had a disappointing outing. Thus, India’s, as well as the Windies batsmen, will like to pull up their socks to come up with a better show.

Meanwhile, Kuldeep Yadav scalped three wickets and breathed down the neck of the visitor’s batsmen. The mystery chinaman landed his balls in the right areas and was able to bamboozle the tourist’s batsmen with his wrong ones. Furthermore, the experience of Dinesh Karthik came good for the Indian team. Karthik understood the need of the hour and batted with guile to take his team through to the finishing line.

Therefore, two Kolkata Knight Riders players were able to make most of their known conditions at Eden Gardens.

On the other hand, Krunal Pandya had a perfect start to his T20I career. Pandya scalped a big wicket of his Mumbai Indians teammate, Kieron Pollard. Subsequently, he provided the finishing touches to the run chase as he scored a brisk nine ball 21. Consequently, he was able to write a perfect first chapter to his International book.

Meanwhile, Oshane Thomas also impressed with his brisk pace. The 21-year prodigy fast bowler bowled with his tail up and got the better of India’s top two batsmen in this side, Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma. Thomas was able to move the ball at a fine speed to cause early jitters in India’s run-chase.

Thus, India will need to put a better show against the fiery fast bowler. Shikhar Dhawan’s form is a cause of concern and the southpaw batsman will like to get back into form before the pivotal Australia tour.

Match Prediction: India will once again go as favorites into the contest. However, the Windies can definitely surprise the hosts in the shortest version. Hence, India will not like to be complacent.
