The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has named the 12-man squad for the second ODI against the Windies. India has named the same squad as they had done for the first ODI. In the first ODI match, India had dropped Kuldeep Yadav and had gone with three fast bowlers. However, Mohammed Shami had an expensive day at the office as he leaked 80 odd runs.

Therefore, the hosts can make one change in their playing XI as they can bring in Kuldeep Yadav for Mohammed Shami. Shami had returned to the ODI set up after a long time. However, the fast bowler who has done a fine job in the red ball version could not deliver the goods in the first match.

India will aim to continue their domination.

The second ODI will take place at Visakhapatnam and Indian skipper Virat Kohli will confirm the final XI at the time of toss. Meanwhile, India has already taken a 1-0 lead in the five-match ODI series.

The hosts were able to cruise to a target of 323 runs. Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma were able to score daddy hundreds to help their team win by eight wickets and 47 balls to spare. Thus, it was a dominating batting performance from India’s captain and deputy as they put together a partnership of 246 runs.
