India vs Windies 2018: Mohammad Kaif Congratulates Rohit Sharma, Ambati Rayudu

Team India posted a total of 377 runs at the end of 50th over where Rohit Sharma and Ambati Rayudu were the two centurions. Meanwhile, the former India batsman, Mohammad Kaif has shed a word of praise on both the players.

India elected to bat first after winning the much-needed toss. The opening duo of Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan started their innings well, as they added 71 runs for the first wicket.

Meanwhile, after India lost the two quick wickets of Dhawan and skipper Virat Kohli, Ambati Rayudu walked into the crease to join Rohit Sharma. The right-handed batsman played an outstanding knock of 162 runs with the help of twenty boundaries and four sixes. However, Rayudu slammed his third ODI ton against the Windies. In addition to that, Rohit Sharma and Ambati Rayudu added 211 runs for the third wicket. They were milking gaps just like that and made the Windies bowlers chase the leather.

Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma brought up his 21st ODI century, and he also had three double-hundreds to his name. Ambati Rayudu also brought about his third ODI ton with the help of eight boundaries and four massive sixes.

Moreover, Rohit and Dhawan now have 3920 runs from 87 innings at an average of 46.11. Their best partnership stands at 210. They need another 2689 runs if they wish to match Tendulkar and Ganguly at the top. They are holding at the second position after surpassing the batting legends, Virender Sehwag and Sachin Tendulkar.

Furthermore, former Indian cricketer, Mohammad Kaif congratulated Rohit Sharma and Ambati Rayudu for putting up a great show. He also feels India has got their number four batsman for which they were experimenting for a long time.
