The Indian skipperVirat Kohli might be the ”fittest cricketer” in the Indian dressing room but the ace all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja is the ”fastest lad” around. In a race that was set by Windies’ batsman Chandrapaul Hemraj, Ravindra Jadeja proved his incredible athletism by beating the fittest cricketer in India.

The incident happened during the 4th ODI of the series. It was when Chandrapaul Hemraj knocked the ball in between Ravindra Jadeja and Virat Kohli through the covers. The duo was after the ball in a flash to save the certain boundary for the team.

They both started almost in a similar fashion to save the boundary. However, during the course, Ravindra Jadeja outclassed Virat Kohli in the race and then made a perfect slide to hand it to the Indian skipper.

The chase indeed became the fodder for commentators and also the audience out their enjoyed as well. Within the span of time, the video went viral on the social media after it got released by the respective BCCI board.

All in all, it was nice to see the fitness levels of the Indian cricketers. Coming to the game, India completely outsmarted the visitors with their scintillating performances across the departments of the game.

Initially, it was Rohit Sharma and Ambati Rayudu, who wrecked havoc with their willows. Then, it was followed by Khaleel Ahmed and Kuldeep Yadav, who bundled the Windies batting lineup.

The victory helped Indians to go 2-1 in the five-match series. The final ODI of the series will be played at Thiruvananthapuram on November 1st.
