India vs Windies 2018: Spectator Hugs Virat Kohli, Takes a Selfie With Him
A die-hard Virat Kohli’s fan ran to the middle to hug the Indian skipper and even tried to take a selfie with him after a fall of Windies wicket. In fact, a similar incident had happened in the first Test match at Rajkot when two spectators ran to Virat Kohli to take a picture with the Indian captain. Meanwhile, it is not the first time that such an incident is happening on the field.
It is well known that Virat Kohli has a huge fan following and it was palpable on the field once again. In fact, we have seen similar instances when the fans breach the security to take a photo with their favourite player. Fans have also gone on to touch the player’s feet in the middle of a live action.
Meanwhile, India is able to stamp its authority in the ongoing second Test match at Hyderabad. The hosts have scalped five wickets to put their noses in front.
Windies skipper Jason Holder had won the toss and decided to bat first. However, it was a similar story from the Windies batsmen as they once again decided to surrender their weapons.
Kuldeep Yadav was able to take three wickets whereas Ravichandran Ashwin and Umesh Yadav were able to take one wicket each. Meanwhile, Shardul Thakur became the 294th Test player for India as he made his debut.
However, it wasn’t an ideal start for the Mumbai fast bowler as he pulled his hamstring in his second over. Thus, it was unfortunate start for the debutant. India is currently leading by 1-0 in the two-match Test series.
India is in a dominating position as they have scalped five wickets on a batting paradise in Hyderabad. On the other hand, Windies have once again lacked the intent.
