Prithvi Shaw continued from where he left in Rajkot as he played another good knock. The prodigy batsman scored a free-flowing knock of 70 runs off just 53 balls. The young lad scored 11 fours and one six in his blistering knock, which means he scored 50 runs in boundaries. Thus, it was another fine knock from the Mumbai batsman.
Shaw once again showed the right technique as he decided to ride his innings in the topmost gear. In fact, there were no speed breakers for the young batsman as he looked at ease with his strokeplay. Shaw brought out the exhibition of fine batsmanship as he scored his runs easily.

In fact, Shaw has shown the right technique while playing his second Test match. He gets to the pitch of the ball, transfers his body weight towards the ball, plays with a high backlift, keeps his head still, plays with confidence and doesn’t shy away from taking the attack to the opposition. Thus, he ticks all the right boxes in his batting.
Shaw had scored a majestic 134 in the first Test match while making debut at Rajkot. Meanwhile, Shaw lost his wicket while trying to continue his attacking display. Thus, India is currently batting on 129-3 after losing the wicket of Cheteshwar Pujara who once again perished while poking at an off-stump ball.

Earlier, India was able to skittle out Windies for 311. Thus, the tourists were able to add only 16 runs on second Day’s play. Umesh Yadav was the chief destroyer as the fast bowler scalped six wickets for 88 runs. Yadav took his second five-wicket haul in the red ball version.
Here is how Twitter reacted to Prithvi Shaw’s knock:

Very good innings by Shaw. Well done young man. He is young and he will learn to be more selective with his shots. But again he is just 18 and he shouldn't curb his natural game #INDvWI #INDvsWI #prithvishaw

Prithvi departs on 70 off 53 balls; he's rising through the ranks, but I feel he needs to curb his natural instincts a bit. It won't be that easy for him to hit through the gaps in Australia.#INDvWI
