Former England skipper Michael Vaughan is in awe of Virat Kohli’s heroics. Vaughan said scoring 38 ODI hundreds in just 206 innings is ridiculous from the Indian captain. Meanwhile, Indian skipper is the most consistent batsman of the modern game. In fact, Kohli also went on to complete the hat trick of hundreds as he continued his stellar form going.

However, his 38th ODI hundred went in vain as India lost the third ODI by 43 runs. This was a third time when Kohli’s hundred has gone in vain. Kohli had scored a fine knock of 140 runs off just 107 balls in the first match of the series. Thus, the talisman right-hander was also awarded the Man of the match for his fine batting performance.

Furthermore, he went on to score an unbeaten 157 in the second ODI off just 129 balls. However, that match also ended in a stalemate. Thus, Kohli has been a lone warrior in the last two matches for the Men in Blue.

Meanwhile, Kohli had also surpassed the barrier of 10,000 ODI runs. He accomplished the feat in just 205 innings and therefore became the fastest to reach the milestone.

Kohli is consistently producing runs at will. In fact, he is making runs-scoring like the easiest job in the world. In fact, Kohli’s hunger for runs is never satiated and he looks to get better with every match. The linchpin will like to continue with his scintillating form and keep delivering the goods for his team.

Virat Kohli is continuing his love affair of breaking and creating new records in the game. In fact, the way he is going on, every record looks in danger.

Michael Vaughan took to Twitter to praise Virat Kohli’s consistency. Vaughan post read as, “38 Tons in 206 ODI innings is ridiculous ….. ? #Fact”.
