Team India completely outplayed the Windies in the first two T20Is where Denesh Ramdin reveals that Kuldeep Yadav had provided some excellent support for India.

However, barring the two ODIs, the visitors were crushed by India.

The Men in Blues had won the Tests, the ODIs and the T20Is with ease. Rohit Sharma and Co. will play the dead rubber of the T20Is against the Caribbean side on Sunday.

Indian chinaman bowler Kuldeep Yadav led the downfall of Windies team.

“Guys haven’t been able to pick him, and basically he has been one of the threats in the middle overs and unfortunately we couldn’t push on,” Denesh Ramdin said.

Moreover, Windies are currently playing with an inexperienced side. Their big shots are playing some franchise cricket, or they are at homes. No senior player is playing in the team which might be the root cause of their series defeat.

“It’s difficult to build a team given the current scenario. When you look at our T20 players they are in demand all over the world, so yes, we are suffering in that aspect. Our senior players did not turn up for the tour, and that’s one of the reasons why we are 2-0 down in this series,” Ramdin said ahead of the third and final T20.

Furthermore, Ramdin appreciated the new talents of Shimron Hetmyer and Shai Hope. Both this duo had played some exceptional cricket in red-ball as well as limited-overs format.

“But Hope and Hetmyer have had success, to transfer themselves from 50-over mindset to T20 cricket. They have tried their best, and one needs 10-12 balls to get a start, but they haven’t capitalised. A lot of T20 cricket is about momentum and we haven’t been able to build on it,” Denesh Ramdin further added.

The 33-year-old cricketer from Trinidad feels that spinners will play a vital role in the last and final game of the T20I series.
