The members of the Indian and Australian cricket team reached Hyderabad on Thursday, two days prior to the first ODI of the series that will be played in the city. As per a report in Sportstar, there was heavy security cover for both the teams.

The players are now expected to train at the venue today as they have had no chance to train after the 2nd T20I that was played in Bengaluru.

The 1st ODI of the series will be played tomorrow at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. All five ODIs will have 1:30 PM start.

The last time when Australia tour India for a limited-overs series was in 2017 when Steven Smith was still the captain of the team.

India won the five-match ODI series 4-1 while the T20I series ended in a tie with both the teams winning a game each.

The 3rd T20I in Hyderabad could not start due to rain. This time, Australia have already delivered the first punch by winning the two-match T20I series 2-0.

The visitors were dominant in both the games and stunned India with the result of the series.

In a low-scoring 1st T20I, India score 126/7 in their allotted 20 overs. Australia had problems in the chase but middle-order heroics from Glenn Maxwell saw them staying in the game

Jhye Richarson and Pat Cummins did the job for Australia in the final over and chased down 14 runs that they needed.

In the 2nd T20I in Bengaluru, team India put up a high score of 190/4 on the board.

For the moment, it looked like it will be a match-winning score but Maxwell again did the job for his team.

The 30-year-old all-rounder struck a magnificent century, leading the team from the front in the chase.

None of the Indian bowlers could really keep him under check and he cruised to his 3rd T20I ton to lead Australia to a heroic win.

India will have the pressure to bounce back in the ODI series and end Australia’s winning run on the tour.

This is the last international series that India are playing ahead of World Cup 2019.
