Richards is considered to be the finest batsman of his era. The 67-year-old batsman played 121 Tests and 187 ODIs for West Indies. He scored 8540 in Tests and 6721 runs in ODIs. Richards was a part of West Indies’ World Cup-winning team in 1975 and 1979 – also scoring 138* in the final in 1979.

The quickest batsman to score 10,000 runs in ODIs, Kohli has a bright chance of finishing as top run-scorer in this format should he play for 5-6 more years.
