Jubilant twin brothers from South Africa made Team India batters to practice in the nets at the Wanderers Stadium ahead of the ongoing third and final Test of the three-match Sunfoil Test series.

“Both are students of my school and they are promising all-rounders”,  Wian Lubber, who’s the coach of the brothers at Potchefstroom was quoted by Deccan Chronicle.

Expectations and Adaption:

Virat Kohli and Co., to salvage some pride, would like to consolidate in Johannesburg before entering into the limited-overs competition which saw the two net bowlers helping out visitors in nets to acclimatise to the conditions.

According to the school mentor Lubber, the brothers were working hard on their game, and the school has received a confirmation letter from the familiar club North West Cricket for a couple of bowlers owing to the net practice.

“We had received a request from the local club, North West Cricket, to send net bowlers for the Indian team,” Lubber asserted.

Lubber has praised the efforts of the promising youngsters who have been doing well in the local competitions.

“The talented brothers were sent because they are hard-working and talented,” Lubber said.

Wanderers is bowlers own world:

The surface for the final Test has plenty of grass left on it which has already seen the seam bowlers licking their fingers and opportunity for the young bowlers seemed to be a good choice as a part of the learning curve before making it to the big stage in the foreseeable future.

Dream for the teenagers:

The youngsters were delighted to make an entry into the nets on Monday and to have a close look at the professionals in the gentleman’s game.

Net bowling and the fascinating story:

When Duan Jansen was born, his brother Marco was born just after 15 minutes and their mother cherished for having the dedicating children making their dream come true.

The teenagers arrived for the practice session in Johannesburg on Sunday which further saw them earning praise and went on to bowl at the visiting batters on Monday (January 22).

Interestingly, the lookalike brothers are known as Duan Jansen and Marco, who bowled at Indian skipper Virat Kohli and were extremely happy to bowl against quality players before setting their eyes on the quality team.

“It is an amazing feeling to know that I had bowled to the best batsman (Kohli) in the world and I really feel honoured to bowl to him and the rest of the team,” Marco explained.

Moreover, Macro stated both were aware to favour the Indian batters, but the best part was they had enjoyed pounce on the massive opportunity while terming some of the players as his hero.

“I knew I was helping our opponents but it didn’t bother me because for me it was an opportunity to bowl at my idols and to do that was a great privilege to me,” the-17-year Macro concluded.

Both are eyeing to make it to the local side Highveld Lions as they are yet to feature in the Under-19 leg.
