IPL 2018: Auction Game Plan For Sunrisers Hyderabad

Before going to the IPL auction, Sunrisers Hyderabad will have few things to ponder. The franchise though had done well in past two seasons, but now, when they are all set to form a new team, they will have to look for wider plans.
Before the start of the auction, let’s have a look at few of the plans of Sunrisers Hyderabad that they will look:
Getting back Shikhar Dhawan – One of the major priorities for Sunrisers Hyderabad would be to get Shikhar Dhawan back in their team. Dhawan is a star opener in the limited overs format, especially in IPL.
The destructive pair of Dhawan and David Warner has already seen SRH winning many IPL games, and in no case, SRH will like to tinker with the opening combination. The only way to do this is by retaining Dhawan on the auction day.
Retaining Rashid khan – It would be really surprising if SRH lets go of Rashid Khan. This franchise gave him a chance to shine in the previous edition, and he did well taking 17 wickets.
Rashid is a star leg-spinner and again, getting him back should be on the priority list of SRH to do well in the coming seasons of IPL.
Look for a fast bowler – Sunrises Hyderabad should get an experienced pacer in their line up, who could team up with Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
Bhuvneshwar has shown his prowess in the T20 league by emerging out as the highest wicket-taker in the league twice, but he needs one senior fast bowler to partner with him.
They had Dale Steyn in their team earlier, but they had released him due to various reasons. SRH should be able to get a senior fast bowler in their roster; it will surely be a boon for this team.
Getting a reliable all-rounder – Sunrises Hyderabad also needs a reliable all-rounder who can do the job for them. They had Yuvraj Singh and Deepak Hooda previously, but the reliable factor was missing. Someone like Krunal Pandya will be a perfect choice for them, who have done well in the past.
Though the chances of Mumbai Indians retaining him are quite high, SRH should at least try once to get him.
