Another highly successful and thrilling season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is on the verge of coming to an interesting end. Two of the most consistent teams in this season – Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) – will fight it out for the top prize on super Sunday (May 27)  at the historic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

Sunrisers the Super Kings were the first two teams to make it to the playoffs. In the first Qualifier, Kings thump Hyderabad-based outfit to storm into the grand finale.

With the whole cricketing world is eagerly waiting for the clash, here is a look at some interesting numbers and stats:

1. Veteran batsman Suresh Raina has scored 4,953 runs in the IPL history so far. The southpaw needs just 47 runs more to become the first player to score 5,000 runs in IPL. He has scored 413 runs this season.

2. Mahendra Singh Dhoni will have the opportunity to reach the 500-run mark for the first time in IPL.

The in-form Super Kings skipper has so far scored 455 runs this season with the help of three fifties.

3. Kane Williamson has led his side from the very front. The New Zealander has so far scored a staggering 688 runs.

Another 12 runs will help him score 700 runs in the IPL for the very first time. He also needs only six boundaries to complete a staggering 100 fours, this season.

4. Harbhajan Singh and Dwayne Bravo will be looking to edge out each other in terms of IPL wickets. The veteran spinner has so far picked up 135 IPL wickets while Bravo has 134 wickets to his name.

Both professionals represent Chennai Super Kings in the season eleven of the cash-rich T20 league.

5. Shikhar Dhawan needs 46 runs to complete 6,000 runs in Twenty20. The southpaw has scored 5,956 runs in the shortest format of the game, as of now.
