Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper, Kane Williamson is hopeful of the fact that they will get back the services of Bhuvneshwar Kumar in the next IPL game against the Delhi Daredevils on 5th May.

Despite his absence, the Hyderabad bowlers have been quite exceptional and have led them to victories in last three low-scoring matches.

“We have had a few of days off now and obviously; he missed a couple of games. I don’t think it was a serious injury, but something he did need to give rest… Hopefully, he will be fine by next game,” Williamson told reporters on the sideline of a promotional event.

Bhuvi missed the last couple of games for Hyderabad owing to a back problem. The former champions take on Daredevils in their next encounter on 5th May.

Hyderabad is currently at the top of the points table with six wins under their belt form eight matches. They have defended pretty low scores in the last three matches.

Defending 119 against the Mumbai Indians, Hyderabad skittled them out for just 87 runs handing them a 31-run victory. They can book their place in the playoffs with a couple of more wins. However, they will be looking to finish in the top two which will give them two shots at the final.

Meanwhile Hyderabad coach, Tom Moody stated the team would like to improve in all three departments of the game, as the tournament reaches the business end.

“Business end of the tournament is where we want to be playing our best cricket. We feel we can still improve in all three departments,” he said.

Meanwhile, the coach and the skipper revealed the name of their favourite cricketers.

While Williamson said Tendulkar is his favourite Indian cricketer, Moody picked Dhoni as his favourite. Moody also lauded India for its growth in India culturally and in cricket.
