Windies cricketer, Kieron Pollard claimed Andre Russell to be the best all-rounder in world cricket at the moment.

The veteran cricketer also went onto wish his international teammate on his birthday. Andre Russell is celebrating his 30th birthday on Sunday and wishes had poured on the day from across the world.

He has earned a name for himself with his pacey death bowling skills and an incredible hard-hitting. He is undoubtedly one of the best hitters of the cricket ball and has proved it once again this season.

The big Caribbean international is an indispensable part of the current Kolkata Knight Riders squad. He was successful with both bat and ball this year. However, he will need more support from other players in the team if Knight Riders are to make it to the playoffs.

Kieron Pollard took to his Instagram to wish his pal on his birthday. His post read:

“Happy bday to the best all rounder going around .. @ar12russell .. blessings #keeppushing #boibeatball.”

Pollard Struggling in IPL 2018

On the other hand, Mumbai Indians all-rounder Kieron Pollard is seriously struggling for form in the ongoing IPL season.

He has not starred in the lower middle order for the team and was eventually dropped in their game against Chennai Super Kings on Saturday.

He will need to considerably increase his form with more rigorous training in nets and impress the coach.

If he cannot do that, we might not see him featuring much for the franchise this season. With Mumbai Indians looking to find their form, they cannot make many mistakes in their line up in their upcoming games.

They have clinched a decent win against Chennai Super Kings on Saturday and will need to win at least six of their next seven games to qualify for the playoffs. Kieron Pollard will need to keep on working hard and should try to get back into the team.
