One of the major revelations this season of Indian Premier League is the captaincy of Kane Williamson for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH)
Much had been talked about the absence of David Warner this season in the wake of the ball-tampering scandal in South Africa.
However, Williamson made a seamless transition for table-toppers SRH, with eight wins out of ten matches already.
Apart from his captaincy, Williamson did not make Warner’s absence felt when it came to the batting department as well.

Black Caps coach Mike Hesson is covering the tournament with Star Sports Network. Furthermore, he was all praises for the national captain of the Kiwis.
“Any quality batsman, if they have got the skills, will adapt (to) any form of the game and Kane Williamson is no different,” Mike Hesson told TOI.
Even in the surfaces where rest of the batsmen have struggled, Williamson has scored heaps of runs to bail out Sunrisers on several occasions.
“He does not go out and look to thrash the ball, but he times the ball, gets in good positions and hits where fielders aren’t. (He is) an all-round good player,” Hesson said.
Mike Hesson lists Fab 4 along with AB de Villiers as the best in the modern game:
Further, he listed the fab four of international cricket, featuring Virat Kohli, Joe Root, Smith, and Williamson as the best in the world along with South Africa’s AB de Villiers.
“There are four-five (players) who are extremely good. Virat Kohli is one, Joe Root exceptionally good,” the Kiwi continued.
“Steve Smith, Kane Williamson, they are probably the four at the moment around the world. And also, AB de Villers when he is playing,” Mike Hesson concluded.
