Mahendra Singh Dhoni bursts into laughter following a botched coin throw by Shreyas Iyer during the recent game between Delhi Daredevils (DD) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the Feroz Shah Kotla on Friday (May 18) night.

Meanwhile, Dhoni never lets emotion get away during any time of the game. However, there is also the other shade of Dhoni, who manages to lighten up the entire mood of the crowd in one go.

The 36-year-old Dhoni had attempted to fake a nap during a match, scared Ravindra Jadeja by a dummy throw and even found opposition fielders picking out the ball from his pad to have a go at the other end.

It was a funny scenario on Friday as well, as Daredevils captain Iyer flipped the coin at the toss ceremony and it landed several feet away from where the two captains and the match officials were present.

Match referee Manu Nayyar, however, walked up to the spot and stated that Dhoni had won the toss. Watching Dhoni laugh, even Iyer couldn’t control himself.

Delhi gets to winning ways after failing to leave an impact:

Daredevils bowlers stood up to the occasion, as they restricted Chennai Super Kings on 128 runs. The visitors went on to lose the match by 34 runs at the Feroz Shah Kotla.

However, this match had no importance with Chennai under the leadership of Mahendra Singh Dhoni already qualified for the playoffs.

On the other hand, Daredevils are already out of the competitions and looked to finish the tournament on a high.

Batting first, Delhi struggled to get off to a good start, as they lost Prithvi Shaw (17) in the fifth over. However, some useful partnership down the order helped Delhi go over the 150-run mark.

Vijay Shankar (36) and Harshal Patel (36*) hammered the ball, as the bowlers went in search of the leather. Patel played a blinder including one boundary and four towering sixes.

In reply, Chennai batsmen struggled to get going, as Delhi bowlers did an outstanding job with the ball.

However, Ambati Rayudu continued his brilliant run with yet another half-century. The middle-order struggled to score run with the bat, as Chennai fell short of 34 runs.
