The Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) led by Kane Williamson have been the only invincible side in the ongoing eleventh season of the cash-rich Indian Premier League (IPL).
Similarly, the Orange army relies heavily on its bowling battery. The Hyderabad-based outfit delivered the goods in all the three matches so far.
In addition, Sunrisers will look to continue their impetus against Kings XI Punjab in the latter’s den on Thursday (April 19).
So much so, it has been a dominating performance from the visiting side Hyderabad, as they have ticked all the boxes in nutshell.
Here is a look at the Predicted XI of Sunrisers Hyderabad:
It has been noted that Shikhar Dhawan has batted with more responsibility after Sunrisers lost the services of their former skipper David Warner, in the wake of a ball-tampering saga.
Dhawan holds the key to Sunrisers top order. It is essential that he provides a good platform to the side.
He has found a new partner in wicketkeeper-batsman Wriddhiman Saha and the right and left-hand combination has always helped the team’s cause.
Dhawan had managed only seven runs in the last match and he would be rearing to go against Punjab.
Wriddhiman Saha has done a fine job for the Sunrisers Hyderabad behind the stumps.
The West Bengal-based gloveman has also accepted the opening challenge with both his hands.
Saha would be against his former franchise KXIP and he would also aim to deliver with the bat.
Skipper Kane Williamson has led the Sunrisers Hyderabad with great aplomb.
Williamson has impressed with his quick thinking and he has been taking good decisions as the leader of the side.
It is pivotal for Williamson to bat right throughout the innings and he is best utilized at the top of the order.
Manish Pandey has been outstanding in the field as he had claimed two fine catches in the last match against Kolkata Knight Riders.
Hitherto, Pandey has not been able to hit the ground running with the bat as he has struggled to find his timing.
We know that Pandey can be an explosive Twenty20 batsman. He had done a fine job for the Kolkata Knight Riders in the previously-held editions.
The team management of Sunrisers Hyderabad will hope that he repeats his magic for them.
Shakib Al Hasan:
The Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan is also doing a great job for the Hyderabad franchise with both bat and bowl.
Hasan had scalped two wickets in the last match and had only given away 21 runs in his quota of four overs. Shakib had also scored crucial 27 runs to get Hyderabad close to the target.
The Baroda-based cricketer Deepak Hooda has thus far done justice to the finishing role that has been handed over to him.
Hooda has been electric in the field and he has been saving runs for the SRH.
The young talent in the form of Hooda can also be utilized as the floater by the team to give them a threshold.
Yusuf Pathan hasn’t received many chances thus far and he was able to score a fine 17 runs off just seven balls in the previous match.
The all-rounder hasn’t been given a ball so far and he can be utilized as a handy bowler also.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar once again showed why he is the best white ball bowler.
The Sunrisers deputy was able to scalp three wickets in the last match and conceded only 26 runs in his allotted four overs.
The Uttar Pradesh-based bowler is known to hit the blockhole at will and he is really hard to get away in the final overs.
Kumar has recently added knuckleball to his armory and he is making the most of the variation. He has been a major prospect for Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Rashid Khan has continued to breathe down the neck of the opposition’s batsmen but he went wicketless in the last match.
The Afghanistan star hardly gives away any freebies and bowls at a higher speed being a leg-spinner.
Siddarth Kaul has been also been impressive in the ongoing season of the tournament.
Kaul is bowling at a brisk pace and his bouncers have been right on the target.
Kaul is getting more confident day-by-day and he is expected to get better.
The lanky fast bowler from Australia Billy Stanlake is generating quick speed and has been able to hit the right areas.
In contrast, Billy was adjudged as the Man of the Match for his performance in the previous game.
