IPL 2018: Twitter Reactions - Krishnappa Gowtham's Late Heroics Pulls off an Incredible Win for Rajasthan Royals

Rajasthan Royals have prevailed over Mumbai Indians in a thrilling contest by three wickets.
Krishnappa Gowtham was the hero of the game, as he single-handedly clinched the win in the slog overs.
Having won the toss and elected to bat first, Mumbai Indians suffered a massive blow losing Evin Lewis for a golden duck. But youngsters, Ishan Kishan and Surya Kumar Yadav did a commendable job in putting the innings back on track. Both of them scored the fifties and added 129 runs for the second wicket.
But the flurry of wickets at the end saw Mumbai Indians manage only 168/7 in their 20 overs.
None of the batsmen had contributed well in the fag end of the innings. The team looked on course to score more than 200 but had lost their way. Jofra Archer was the pick of the bowlers, as he managed three wickets in his four overs.
Chasing a par score of 169, Rajasthan Royals had lost both their openers in the power play overs. However, English all-rounder, Ben Stokes and Sanju Samson rescued the situation. Sanju Samson had managed an impressive 52 runs in just 39 balls.
Just about when Rajasthan looked like losing the game, Karnataka cricketer Krishnappa Gowtham played a gem of a knock. His unbeaten 33 runs in just 11 balls had lifted Rajasthan Royals to an epic victory.
Here is how Twitter reacted to epic thriller
Mumbai have made a habit of losing games they should be winning comfortably. #<!----><<!---->!<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->><!---->I<!----><<!---->!<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->><!---->P<!----><<!---->!<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->><!---->L
33* from just 11
Thank God there was no Binny to stop him from doing that.
What a blitz by Gowtham??? Irrepressible temperament under pressure! Rajasthan needed 38 runs off 14 balls; end up winning with 3 balls remaining??? Most of my friends on TL were rooting for Mumbai. Tough luck.. #<!----><<!---->!<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->><!---->R<!----><<!---->!<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->><!---->R<!----><<!---->!<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->><!---->v<!----><<!---->!<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->><!---->M<!----><<!---->!<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->><!---->I #<!----><<!---->!<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->><!---->I<!----><<!---->!<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->><!---->P<!----><<!---->!<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->><!---->L<!----><<!---->!<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->><!---->2<!----><<!---->!<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->><!---->0<!----><<!---->!<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->><!---->1<!----><<!---->!<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->><!---->8
Very useful cricketer.. Mind you, Gowtham is a fine off-spinner in first class cricket. He has a problem or two vs the short ball and ordinary fielder. But utility cricketer and can tonk it.
Bumrah bowled a no-ball in Jaipur. Jaipur police must have ordered multiple hoardings to be placed across the city #<!----><<!---->!<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->><!---->R<!----><<!---->!<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->><!---->R<!----><<!---->!<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->><!---->v<!----><<!---->!<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->><!---->M<!----><<!---->!<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->><!---->I
Sanju Samson need to show he can finish games. No point in playing a quick innings and throw the wicket when needed ????
A Royal Collapse!
Sanju Samson has arguably been the best batsman so far this IPL. His was the wicket Mumbai needed. This match should see close finish too
Poor performance from RR. looks like they mostly depends on Sanju Samson. One more reason is their poor powerplay batting performance. What a comeback #<!----><<!---->!<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->><!---->M<!----><<!---->!<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->><!---->u<!----><<!---->!<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->><!---->m<!----><<!---->!<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->><!---->b<!----><<!---->!<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->><!---->a<!----><<!---->!<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->><!---->i<!----><<!---->!<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->><!---->I<!----><<!---->!<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->><!---->n<!----><<!---->!<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->><!---->d<!----><<!---->!<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->><!---->i<!----><<!---->!<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->><!---->a<!----><<!---->!<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->><!---->n<!----><<!---->!<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->><!---->s??#<!----><<!---->!<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->><!---->R<!----><<!---->!<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->><!---->R<!----><<!---->!<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->><!---->v<!----><<!---->!<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->><!---->M<!----><<!---->!<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->-<!---->><!---->I

MI 25 runs short IMO after fine Yadav-Ishan Kishan partnership. Batting blunders aplenty but credit to RR bowlers for keeping their nerve
Superb comeback by Royals. Tells you why wickets are always key.
You can see why a few rate Archer so highly. Remember, he performed superbly for Sussex in CC too. So he is not just a T20 specialist.
