There is a speculation going around that the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni might call it a day after winning the Indian Premier League (IPL) trophy.

However, there is no reason Dhoni should ponder on the big decision. Dhoni is still fit as a fiddle. Most importantly, Dhoni was able to get back into some kind of a form in this season eleven of the IPL.

Veteran cricketer Dhoni batted at the top of his game in IPL 2018. We had noticed a downward slope in batting capabilities of the talisman. However, he was able to come up good with the bat.

The 36-year-old Dhoni scored 455 runs in the 15 innings he played in this season. Moreover, we were able to witness vintage Dhoni once again.

Dhoni is still fit as a fiddle:

Meanwhile, the Super Kings came up with another team performance throughout the season – to claim their third IPL title.

The Men in Yellow were able to come up good by eight wickets and nine balls to spare against the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the historic Wankhede Stadium. Shane Watson played a match-winning knock to help his team get over the line. He remained unbeaten on 117 to thrash Sunrisers’ bowlers.

One of Dhoni’s statement has raised doubts over his future.

“The big shift will be after two years, where most of these players won’t be there,” Dhoni said during one of the post-match presentation ceremonies.

Dhoni is back amongst the runs:

We also noticed that Dhoni surprised everyone when he had hung his boots from the red-ball form. However, Dhoni had said earlier that he doesn’t see himself playing in all the three formats in 2015 before his Test cricket retirement. Thus, he had kept his word.

Meanwhile, we also noticed AB de Villiers coming up with retirement to send shocking waves in the cricketing world.

However, Dhoni has not yet given a direct hint towards his retirement. Dhoni is still fit as a fiddle and most importantly, he has the confidence of runs under his belt.

The star cricketer is definitely expected to play till the next (2019) World Cup.

Furthermore, Mahendra Singh Dhoni also didn’t reveal anything in the post-match ceremony after winning his third IPL crown.
