IPL 2018: Watch - Hardik Pandya And Rishabh Pant Exchange Words at Kotla

Cricket is called the gentleman’s game for a reason. The players from either side make sure that the reputation of the game does not get a beating in any case. The spirit of the game is being given utmost priority by the players.

However, sometimes emotions get the better of the players and not surprisingly it downgrades the game’s reputation.

One similar incident was witnessed during the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) game between Delhi Daredevils (DD) and Mumbai Indians (MI).

The incident occurred in the 16th over of the innings bowled by Hardik Pandya. Rishabh Pant was giving the Mumbai Indians allrounder an appropriate response with the willow.

The southpaw Pant started the over with a six. Two balls later, he hit a four. The worst was yet to come for Pandya as Pant hit him for a one-handed six on the following delivery.

Seeing his junior India teammate taking him to the cleaners, Pandya finally lost his cool. The 24-year old was seen giving Pant an earful with an interesting expression on his face. On the other hand, Pant also did not refrain from giving it back to his senior.

Meanwhile, Rishabh Pant continued his red-hot form with the bat to guide Delhi to a competitive total against the defending champions at Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium.

The Delhi-based batsman scored 64 off 44 balls with the help of four fours and as many sixes as Delhi posted 174 for four in the allotted 20 overs.
