IPL 2018: Yusuf Pathan Hails Kane Williamson, Backs SRH to Lift IPL Title

Sunrisers Hyderabad middle-order batsman Yusuf Pathan has hailed his skipper Kane Williamson for the way he is using his bowlers in the ongoing IPL season. The Sunrisers are undoubtedly the best team so far in IPL 2018 and are primed to finish in top two positions.

They had managed all this success without their star player David Warner and spearhead Bhuvneswar Kumar, who missed the bulk of the games in the season. However, considering the depth in their bowling department, Kane Williamson was still able to use his bowlers to the maximum potential.

“Kane is a calm person, and that has helped us all. His presence ensures things don’t go haywire even under pressure. He has good knowledge of using bowlers in different situations and rotating them when needed,” Yusuf Pathan said.

Sunrisers Hyderabad Favorites To win IPL 2018

The champions of 2016 are one of the favourites to win the title this season. They hardly looked like a team that can be beaten. Apart from the game against Kings XI Punjab in Mohali, they were good in every other game. They had defended totals like 118, 132, 146 and 151 this season to reach the top of the table.

“If we keep playing this way, there is no reason we can’t go the distance. We have got some difficult wickets, and the batsmen should be given equal credit for helping the team reach defendable targets in tough conditions,” said Pathan, who has earlier won three IPL titles so far.

BCCI selection committee has once again given plenty of chances to the performers in IPL 2018. Sunrisers Hyderabad bowler Siddarth Kaul got picked to the T20I squad for the first time. On the other hand, Ambati Rayudu also made a comeback to ODI squad after his impressive batting so far this season.
