Earlier, Delhi Capitals (DC) star batsman, Rishabh Pant had issued a warning to veteran India cricketer, MS Dhoni ahead of IPL 2019 in a Twitter video. Now, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) has given a befitting reply to their IPL competitors. Meanwhile, the twelfth edition of the Indian Premier League will begin on March 23rd in India. Though there were speculations of the IPL getting shifted to a neutral venue (South Africa or the UAE) due to general elections; the BCCI head bosses confirmed India would host the tournament.
CSK’s reply to Pant’s Warning
On February 23rd (Saturday), Rishabh Pant shared a video on his twitter handle quoting he is ready to show MS Dhoni his game. Pant, earlier, also said had Dhoni not been around, he wouldn’t have thought of becoming a wicket-keeper. Since Rishabh has come a long way from that, the young prodigy is now a star in the making. Not only this, his franchise, Delhi Capitals had also shared the video.

Meanwhile, CSK has posted an image of veteran Bollywood and Tollywood star, Rajnikanth signalling his co-actor to sit back and stay calm. In relation to what Pant had said to Dhoni; considering MS’ image as a superstar in the country, CSK’s reply looks the best with Dhoni’s fans cherishing it.

Chennai to begin IPL 2019 as absolute favourites
Without a second thought, the defending champions, Chennai Super Kings will start the IPL 2019 as outright favourites. Though the percentage gets divided, as there are a few other strong contenders; CSK remains to be a threat for seven franchises.
As far as records are concerned, CSK has won the title thrice – joint highest with Mumbai Indians. Delhi Capitals, on the other hand, has never been in an IPL finale, let alone winning the trophy.
