Finally, all the hard work put in by Colin Ingram has paid off. In every auction, Colin Ingram ended up on the wrong side of things but finally, he has got a buyer to taste the essence of IPL once again. Back then, during the initial stages of IPL, Ingram was part of Delhi franchise, now, once again, he got his IPL 2019 ticket from the very same franchise.
Colin Ingram started his international career on a great note by scoring a century. However, he failed to carry on and then signed a Kolpak deal. Ingram achieved quite a success in the English county, where he went on to become a successful cricketer across the globe.
Speaking of the inclusion, the South African superstar quoted that he is very much excited to be part of an upcoming edition of Indian Premier League. Further, Ingram added that he can’t wait to join the squad as quickly as possible.

Delhi Capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad involved in an intense bidding war to grab his services. However, Delhi Capitals emerged out victorious, as they got decent amount remaining in their kitty during the bid for him.
In 202 career T20 matches, the 33-year-old has scored 5186 runs at a strike-rate of 139.9, with three centuries and 32 fifties. He also has 37 wickets, who bowls a decent leg-spin.
Apart from Colin Ingram, Delhi Capitals signed quite a few good players in their side. They started their purchasing with Hanuma Vihari and went on to bag the services of Axar Patel, Sherfane Rutherford, Ishant Sharma, Nathu Singh and Ankush Bains.
