Meanwhile, some of the star overseas players like Brendon McCullum and Chris Woakes were amongst the nine players who have been released by the Bangalore-based side ahead of IPL 2019 auction. Furthermore, Corey Anderson happens to be the other all-rounder who missed out on the cut.

However, these three players were acquired by RCB last season in the auctions. Moreover, McCullum who was the hard-hitter during his time in the T20 cricket had played only six matches last season averaging just 21.  Furthermore, the franchise is all set for IPL 2019, and even after the trade period, their top-order looked the same as it used to be.

Also, AB de Villiers who recently announced his retirement from international cricket would play a vital role for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), as people will be keen to see some magic from the de Villiers.

Meanwhile, the RCB went straight up and thanked Anderson for putting up a show for the franchise in the past season.

“Thank you for putting your hand up during testing times and pressure situations! Will always remember that spirit, Coza  #PlayBold, forever.”
