IPL 2019: Mumbai Indians - Predicted Playing XI

Mumbai Indians could not manage to qualify for the playoff stages in the previous season of the IPL. The three-times champions had seven places remaining in which they could have afforded to fit six Indian players and one foreign player in the IPL Auction. Consequently, they added five domestic players whereas they also got back the services of Lasith Malinga at his base price of INR 2 Crores.

Meanwhile, the highlight of Mumbai Indians IPL 2019 Auction was Yuvraj Singh. The talisman batsman who went unsold in the first draw of the auction was picked by Mumbai Indians in the second draw at his base price of INR 1 Crores. Thus, Yuvraj Singh will be seen wearing the Blue jersey in the forthcoming league.

Rohit Sharma will like to deliver the goods.

Mumbai Indians also added Barinder Sran for INR 3.40 crores to their squad. They also added players like Anmolpreet Singh, Rasikh Salam and Pankaj Jaiswal to their squad.

Meanwhile, Mumbai Indian could only manage six wins in the previous season of the league. Thus, they failed to qualify for the playoff stages in the last season of the league.

Consequently, Rohit Sharma led side will like to turn the tables in the 12th season of the league. Suryakumar Yadav had provided consistent starts for the team as the right-hander had scored 512 runs in the season. Furthermore, Evin Lewis had done well for the team as he scored 382 runs in the league.

However, Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma was not in the best of forms as he scored only 286 runs, which led to the downfall of the team.

Hence, the Men in Blue will look to get better contributions from their middle order which was their nemesis in the previous season.
