Fans of the senior Indian National Cricket Team batsman felt extremely unhappy after Yuvraj Singh went unsold in the first round at the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2019 auction. However, the Punjab batsman didn???t have a good season in the last edition scoring 65 runs in eight matches. Meanwhile, the former Indian captain, Sourav Ganguly is delighted, as Mumbai Indians roped him in at his base price.

Moreover, Mumbai Indians owner, Akash Ambani revealed they had been trying to buy him ages. However, they got him for Rs one crore, as the event was heading towards its conclusion. As everyone wished the left-hander, Sourav Ganguly took to Twitter to express his happiness.

Furthermore, four years ago, Royal Challengers Bangalore had bought him for a record price of INR 14 crore. In the following year, the Delhi franchise spent more and secured his services by paying a whopping INR 16 crore.

However, since then, Yuvraj???s price has dipped. In 2016, Yuvraj Singh went to Sunrisers Hyderabad for INR 7 crore before being bought by Kings XI Punjab for INR 2 crore in the last season.

Meanwhile, the IPL 2019 auction was another action-packed event, as Varun Chakravarthy (sold to Kings XI Punjab for Rs 8. 4 crores) emerged as the most expensive Indian players.

Another player Jaydev Unadkat (sold to Rajasthan Royals for Rs 8. 4 cr). However, among the overseas players, English all-rounder Sam Curran was bought by Kings XI Punjab for Rs 7.2 crore.
