IPL 2019: Shane Watson's Son Reveals Favourite CSK Player Apart from his Father

Shane Watson’s son William has revealed his favourite Chennai Super Kings player apart from his father. After the completion of the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad, Watson went on to take a small interview of his son. Watson asked William who is his favourite player in CSK, to which his son said, “You”.
Subsequently, Shane Watson asked, ‘Is there any other player, who gives you high fives every time? William said, “Dhoni” because he is always so good”. Watson then asked his son that does Dhoni hit any sixes to which William said, ‘All the time’. In fact, MS Dhoni was seen having fun with William and other kids when he had tempted them for a race in a recent viral video.
Meanwhile, MS Dhoni is in fine form in the ongoing season. The talisman batsman had scored a sublime knock of 84 runs off just 48 balls against Royal Challengers Bangalore. In fact, Dhoni is Chennai Super Kings’ leading run-scorer in the ongoing season as he has amassed 314 runs at Bradmanesque average of 104.67. Furthermore, he has scored his runs with a sublime strike rate of 137.
On the other hand, Shane Watson was able to roar back into form. The right-hander had scored only 147 runs in the 10 matches he had played prior to the knock against SRH. However, he was backed once again by MS Dhoni and he was able to prove his mettle.
Watson took his time in the initial phase of his innings as he played a maiden over against Bhuvneshwar Kumar. However, he was able to change his gears after settling into the crease. The right-hander scored a sublime knock of 96 runs off just 53 balls as he batted at the top of his game. The talisman scored nine fours and six sixes in his blistering knock.
Thus, it is positive signs for the defending champions that Shane Watson is back amongst the runs. He is a big match player and he would like to continue in a similar fashion. CSK will play their next match against Mumbai Indians on 26th April at their own backyard.
