The Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper Virat Kohli has responded to Jasprit Bumrah’s IPL 2019 challenge. Bumrah had recently challenged Kohli for the forthcoming season of the Indian Premier League. The Talisman bowler had said he is still some steps away from being the number one bowler in the world. However, he will like to get the better of the number one batsman in the world, Virat Kohli.

Bumrah warned Kohli that he should be beware of him as he won’t be there in his team, Royal Challengers Bangalore. However, the advertisement had finished with a perplexed look on Virat Kohli’s face.

Virat Kohli said in his response, “Cheeku Bhaiya! You will sledge your captain? (laughs). Finally, you have learned. But don’t expect any favours from Cheeku bhaiya”.

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli was Jasprit Bumrah’s first wicket in the Indian Premier League. However, since then Bumrah hasn’t been able to dismiss Virat Kohli. The talisman batsman has a great record against Bumrah as he scored 99 runs from 66 balls he has faced against Jasprit Bumrah.

On the other hand, Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah are one of the best players in the world. Kohli has touched new heights in the batting department whereas Bumrah has been the king of bowling realm.

Bumrah has scalped 63 wickets in the 61 IPL matches. He has a great economy rate of 7.8 and he has bowled with an average of 28.61. The Mumbai Indians talisman bowler can land his yorkers on target in the death overs. Thus, he is the best death bowler in the world.

On the other side, Virat Kohli has amassed 4948 runs in 163 IPL matches while playing for the Royal Challengers Bangalore. The Bangalore franchise is yet to win the IPL title even though they have qualified for the final on three occasions.
