IPL 2020: Match 2: Delhi Capitals vs Kings XI Punjab: Weather Forecast

Delhi Capitals will host Kings XI Punjab in Dubai in the second match of this year’s IPL. It will be yet another blockbuster of a game after Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians collide in the first game in Abu Dhabi. Kings XI Punjab have remained undefeated in the UAE but also lead the head to head battle against Delhi Capitals, winning 16 out of 26 games.

Delhi Capitals not only have a potent batting line-up but also have an experienced set of spinners in their repertoire. If conditions demand so, skipper Shreyas Iyer might choose to field Ravichandran Ashwin, Sandeep Lamichanne, Amit Mishra, and Axar Patel as Patel provides batting depth too. As far as the fast bowlers go, Ishant Sharma and Kagiso Rabada should consider themselves first-choice picks.

As for Kings XI Punjab, they do have a long batting line-up; however, the lack of experienced spin-bowlers might hurt them. Mujeeb-Ur-Rahman will have a significant role to play as he is coming off a successful outing in the CPL. Ravi Bishnoi, who shone in the U-19 World Cup this year, could be a surprise package.
