Is there anything that happens on the cricket field and it is not mentioned in Jofra Archer’s old tweets? Well, one can say that so far, the answer is no. Jofra Archer has relatable tweets to almost every big event that takes place on the cricket field. It had started during last year’s World Cup when the fans used to dig up his old tweets to relate them to the outcomes of the games.

And on Saturday, another old tweet of the allrounder went viral after AB de Villiers’s stunning innings against Rajasthan Royals. The former South Africa skipper scored a whirlwind knock as Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated Royals by seven wickets.

Chasing 178, RCB were on the backfoot when the 19th over of the innings started. They needed an improbable 35 runs from the last two overs to win the game. But in the end, they chased down the total with two balls remaining thanks to another batting masterclass from de Villiers.

Steve Smith’s decision to hand the ball to Jaydev Unadkat for the crucial 19th over turned out to be a disaster as de Villiers took him to the cleaners. The RCB superstar hit sixes off the first three balls of the over to put his side on top. His partner Gurkeerat Mann then hit a boundary on the final ball to help collect 25 runs off the over.
