Jofra Archer’s tweet For Nicholas Pooran has gone viral after the latter made a splendid save on the boundary. West Indian wicketkeeper-batsman and one of the key assets for Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) this season, Nicholas Pooran made a splendid save for his team against Rajasthan Royals (RR) in their third encounter of IPL 2020. RR took on KXIP on Matchday 9 of IPL 2020. Batting first, Kings XI Punjab posted a humungous total of 223-2 batting first after losing the toss.
Mayank Agarwal’s maiden IPL century and KL Rahul’s half-century helped the visitors scale a mountain like total for the hosts to climb. In response, RR began on the right track by scoring 69 runs in the first powerplay losing only one wicket in the form of Jos Buttler. Buttler was dismissed by Sheldon Cottrell as he was caught splendidly by Sarfaraz Khan.

On the third delivery of the 8th over bowled by Murugan Ashwin, Sanju Samson pulled a shorter delivery towards mid-wicket. The ball was looking set to cross the ropes with ease but Nicholas Pooran had some other ideas. The West Indies star leaped full length over the rope to catch the ball.
And just before falling outside the boundary, he smartly flicked the ball back into play to save four valuable runs for his side.
