There will be very little room for further slipups when Rajasthan Royals and SunRisers Hyderabad lock horns in the 40th match of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020. Both the teams are languishing in the bottom-half of the table and another defeat could all but seal their fate.
Kolkata Knight Riders’ defeat at the hands of Royal Challengers Bangalore on Wednesday has further spiced up the playoffs race and both – Rajasthan Royals and SunRisers Hyderabad – will be looking to make the most of it.
With four wins from ten games, Rajasthan Royals are currently at the sixth spot in the points table. They are coming into this game on the back of a thumping seven-wicket win against Chennai Super Kings. With momentum on their side, Steve Smith & Co. will be eyeing another victory.
SunRisers, on the other hand, are at the seventh spot with 3 wins from nine games. They will be desperate to get back to winning ways after losing to Kolkata Knight Riders in their previous outing.
SunRisers Hyderabad have won the toss and have elected to bowl first against Rajasthan Royals.
