Delhi Capitals will host Mumbai Indians in the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Saturday. A win will ensure Delhi Capitals a spot in the IPL 2020 playoffs while defending champions Mumbai Indians have already qualified. Delhi Capitals however have looked a bit inconsistent with their performance in the last few matches.

Delhi Capitals have looked like a strong side. Young talents like Prithvi Shaw, Shreyas Iyer have mixed-up well with international stars like Kagiso Rabada, Marcus Stoinis to benefit the team from the fore. Experienced Indian cricketers like Ravichandran Ashwin and Shikhar Dhawan further add to the balance of the side.

Mumbai Indians will look to brush up their glitches in the match with nothing to lose. The availability of Rohit Sharma has been a major concern for the side although it has not effected their result. Suryakumar Yadav has looked in red-hot form and Mumbai Indians will expect him to continue similar show in the playoffs.

IPL 2020 Match 51: Delhi Capitals vs Mumbai Indians: Weather Forecast

The major concern playing in the UAE will be heat. A lot of foreign players are not habituated to playing in such conditions. However, local Indian players might tackle the heat as they have played under such conditions in the sub-continent.

The weather on the match day is predicted to remain around 33 to 26 degree celsius. As the day, progresses, the temperature might give slight relief to the players who are in for an evening start with the match.

Toss also becomes a major concern in the IPL 2020 due to this situation even though in the shortest format it doesn’t plays a big role. Humidity during the latter part of the match makes it difficult for the bowlers to grip the ball. The season has so far seen that the team’s batting first have won most number of matches.
