Host Mumbai Indians bounced back in style after narrowly losing to Royal Challengers Bangalore via super over. Their only concern remains the form of Quinton De Kock, who has not made any notable score after a promising start to the campaign. Skipper Rohit Sharma needs more consistency while Kieron Pollard’s red-hot form has come as a massive boost for Mumbai Indians. The pace bowling attack also responded well after taking a pounding at the hands of RCB.

As for SunRisers Hyderabad, they eked out a narrow seven-run victory over Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in Dubai on Friday. It was their second victory of the tournament, lifting them to the fourth spot. SunRisers Hyderabad have got a potent bowling attack; however, Bhuvneshwar Kumar remains doubtful against Mumbai as he was not able to complete his over against CSK. There have also been inconsistent batting displays from Jonny Bairstow, David Warner, and Manish Pandey, who need to step up for their side.

It would be one of the few games wherein the result depends upon the venue. While SunRisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians have all their bases covered and are high on confidence, the toss remains very crucial. The prediction is for the team batting second to emerge victorious in the clash. As Kieron Pollard pointed out, it is essential to bat the situation and not the ground. It would also be a battle of two of the greatest openers in IPL: Rohit Sharma and David Warner.
