Manish Pandey and Vijay Shankar kept ticking along with a 33-run stand; however, the former departed in the 17th over to keep their opposition a little edge. Kings XI Punjab capitalized on the same by picking up regular wickets. Chris Jordan was the pick of the bowlers as he finished with bowling figures of 4-0-17-3.
