It looks like former India batsman Virender Sehwag has become a big Rahul Tewatia fan. The batting legend is making sure to praise the Rajasthan Royals allrounder every time he performs well on the field in the ongoing season. And Tewatia’s performances deserve praise too.
He has become one of Royals’ main men this season and has played crucial roles in two of the team’s three wins so far this season. On Saturday, he put up another fine all round performance against Royal Challengers Bangalore although the former Delhi Capitals allrounder could not avoid a defeat for his team this time around.
Prior to that, he had also played a fine cameo of 19 from 11 balls with the bat. Impressed with his performances, Virender Sehwag jokingly said Tewatia could do anything and could even make a vaccine for coronavirus.
“Tewatia kuchh bhi kar sakte hain. Agar Covid vaccine banane ka ek mauka mil gaya, toh jaisa unka time chal raha hai , lagta hai bana denge. What a season for him,” wrote Virender Sehwag.

As far as the game is concerned, RCB defeated Rajasthan Royals by seven wickets to register their sixth win in nine games this season. Batting first, Royals scored 177 for 6 in the allotted 20 overs. In reply, RCB chased down the total with two balls remaining. AB de Villiers made the difference with the bat, slamming an unbeaten 55 from just 22 balls.
