Despite a lot of rules, regulations and the severe warnings, the crime against women is heartwrenching. Unfortunately, the sexual harassment allegation also came on the senior official in the Board of Cricket Council for India (BCCI).
Meanwhile, the higher official and the patron of Committee of Administrators (CoA), namely, Vinod Rai is trying to save the candidate from the legal issue is another allegation.
It is learnt from the reports of DNA India that a senior official, whose name is yet to be revealed is under the question of the sexual harassment case.
The allegation came from Cricket Association of Bihar’s secretary Aditya Verma in his letter addressed to Supreme Court-appointed CoA chief Rai late on Friday (September 14).
It is disgraceful that you have even acted against the law – Aditya Verma
The secretary wrote a letter to BCCI asking to make an enquiry on the issue.
However, the officials haven’t made any serious interest in the allegation made by Aditya Verma over the accuse.

Nonetheless, the Bihar chairman never left the issue as he made his way to the media. He termed the incident disgraceful. And explained that the senior official forced the female employee to return to her works after committing the crime.
As per the letter in possession of DNA, Verma has accused Rai. “keeping quiet about a case of sexual harassment against an employee of the BCCI. However, Aditya Verma hasn’t stopped himself and blamed the chairman Vinod Rai for not taking the things seriously and trying to help the senior person.”

“It is disgraceful that you have even acted against the law to save a very senior employee who presently owes allegiance to you. This particular employee managed to force this female employee to return back to her duties. Even after informing her colleagues of being harassed by her senior,” Verma described the entire incident.
Aditya Verma warns of making things public:
The official furtherly warned the senior officials that they will make the things public if not given the proper attention to the allegation. Meanwhile, Vinod Rai is yet to comment on the issue.

”When the time comes, the communication would also be made public. (without disclosing the name of the unfortunate employee who was subject to harassment),” threatened Verma.
However, it is surprising that none of the officials commenting on it. Does that mean BCCI trying to save the senior member or worried about the consequences of the issue of sexual harassment? Only time would reveal the things.
